Amy Chow

Amy Chow is a licensed dispensing optician, contact lens fitter and a sales and marketing professional in the specialty contact lens and eye care equipment sector. With degrees in both science and broadcast journalism, she brings to the eye care industry her penchant for communications and experience with specialty contact lenses including scleral lenses, orthokeratology/myopia control and RGP lenses. She is also involved in dry eye and digital eye strain treatment. As an expert consultant with specialty lenses, Amy has held seminars for students at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Seneca College Opticianry Program. She frequently lectures for the Ontario Optician’s Association, the Optician’s Association of Canada and the Academy of Ophthalmic Education. She recently joined the Seneca College Full Time Opticianry Program as a member of the faculty teaching contact lens theory.
